Admission requirements

• University degree or proof of professional aptitude or practical experience required for further training
• Elementary skills on a musical instrument
• Elementary music reading skills
• Functional singing voice
• Good musical comprehension (e.g. singing melodies, clapping rhythms)
• German language level of at least C1

Eine professionelle musikalische Vorbildung ist ausdrücklich nicht erforderlich.

No prior professional musical training is required.

An obligatory orientation weekend will take place on 13 and 14 September 2025, at which a decision will be made on admission to further training.

Professionals (e.g. educators, musicians, musicologists, instrumental and vocal teachers, social pedagogues, etc.) who would like to gain further qualifications in the field of elementary music education.
